Job summary

Bruceton Petroleum Co Inc-WV Division in Bruceton Mills, WV is seeking a Tanker Driver to deliver fuel oils and related products safely and efficiently to assigned locations. The role requires a CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and the capacity to climb up to 15 ft; you will perform pre/post-trip checks and complete required paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete required shipping papers and duty logs.
• Comply with DOT regulations for CMVs and hazmat.

Basic Function

A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP, etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.

Essential Functions

• Drive tractor trailer/delivery truck to various locations in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness.
• Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.
• Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age.
• Commercial driver's license with hazardous material and tanker endorsement.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to climb up to 15 ft.
