Job summary

Bruceton Petroleum Co., Inc. is seeking a truck driver to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, and liquefied petroleum gas to customers with a focus on safety and efficiency. The role requires pre/post-trip inspections, accurate paperwork, and adherence to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver gasoline, fuel oil, and LPG safely to customers.
• Load at filling rack and inspect vehicle pre/post trip.
• Record delivered quantities and issue tickets to customers.
• Perform daily bulk plant maintenance and light truck maintenance.
• Complete required shipping papers and duty hours reports.
• Understand DOT regulations for CMV and hazardous materials; respond to emergencies.

Job Title: Truck DriverReporting Relationship: Reports to – Director of OperationsBasic Function:A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.Essential Functions:Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers: Drives truck into position to load at filling rack.Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;Opens valves or starts pumps to fill tank.Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded.Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.Perform daily maintenance of bulk plant; light maintenance on trucks (washing, etc.)Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency;Qualifications:a. 21 years of age; andb.
