Job summary

Bruceton Petroleum Co., Inc. in Blairtown, PA is seeking a licensed truck driver to deliver fuel oil, gasoline, LP, and related products to customer sites. The driver will operate a tank truck, load/unload, and perform safety inspections.

Responsibilities include completing paperwork, complying with DOT regs, and maintaining the vehicle, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and timely deliveries. Must have CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements and be able to meet physical requirements.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age.
• Commercial driver's license with hazmat and tanker endorsement.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to climb up to 15 ft.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for operating a CMV, transporting hazmat and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers.
• Drives truck into position to load at filling rack.
• Performs pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness.
• Opens valves or starts pumps to fill tank.
• Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded.
• Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.
• Performs daily maintenance of bulk plant; light maintenance on trucks.
• Completes required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.
• Has working knowledge of DOT regulations regarding operating a CMV, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency.
