Job summary

Bruceton Petroleum Co., Inc. is seeking a Truck Driver to safely deliver gasoline, fuel oil, and LP to customers. You will operate tank trucks, load at filling racks, and perform required paperwork.

Candidates must be 21+ years old, hold a CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements, be able to lift 75 lbs and climb up to 15 ft, and comply with DOT regulations. The role offers steady hours and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age required.
• CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and climb up to 15 ft.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations for CMV and hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Drive tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or LPG to customers.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Record quantities and issue tickets to customers.
• Complete required paperwork (shipping papers, hours of duty, etc.).
• Maintain trucks and perform light maintenance at the bulk plant.

Job Title: Truck DriverReporting Relationship: Reports to – Director of OperationsBasic Function:A driver is primarily responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, LP etc. in a safe and efficient manner to various locations as assigned by his/her manager.Essential Functions:Drives tank truck to deliver gasoline, fuel oil, or liquefied petroleum gas to customers: Drives truck into position to load at filling rack.Perform pre and post trip visual inspections of vehicle to determine road worthiness;Opens valves or starts pumps to fill tank.Reads gauges or meters and records quantity loaded.Records amount delivered and issues ticket to customer.Perform daily maintenance of bulk plant; light maintenance on trucks (washing, etc.)Complete required paperwork such as shipping papers, hours of duty reports, etc.Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations regarding operating a commercial motor vehicle, transporting hazardous material and how to respond to an emergency;Qualifications:a. 21 years of age; andb. Commercial driver's license with hazardous material and tanker endorsement.c. Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.d.
