Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Fernley, NV is hiring truck care cashiers for a fast-paced, friendly environment. No experience required—we will teach you the basics of customer service, cash handling, and POS transactions.

You will be the first point of contact with customers in the lobby, balance cash registers, and input work orders while ensuring accurate service records. The role requires teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to lift 25+ pounds in diverse temperatures.

Qualifications

• No experience? We will teach you!
• Customer service and cash handling basics preferred, but not required.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Strong teamwork and flexibility encouraged.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect customers with service specialist to identify services needed
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws
• Accurately input work order information into POS and verify accuracy of services performed and collect/close out pending invoices
• Communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders
• Perform customer area & restroom maintenance such as but not limited to; detail cleaning toilets, sweeping/mopping floors, mirrors and doors, service trash cans, and wipe excess oil off counters, doors, windows
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
