Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking truck care cashiers to provide fast, friendly service at our busy Love's location. You will handle transactions, greet customers, identify needed services, and ensure accurate invoicing while keeping the store and restrooms clean and welcoming.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the lobby and connect them with the service specialist.
• Balance cash register, process transactions, and offer add-on sales while following laws.
• Input work orders into POS and verify services; collect/close invoices.
• Communicate with fleet maintenance to obtain work authorizations or purchase orders.
• Perform customer area and restroom maintenance and keep work areas clean.
• Move and lift 25+ pounds; work in varying temperatures.

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem. We will teach you!

Job Functions

• First point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect customers with service specialist to identify services needed
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws
• Accurately input work order information into POS and verify accuracy of services performed and collect/close out pending invoices
• Communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders
• Perform customer area & restroom maintenance such as but not limited to; detail cleaning toilets, sweeping/mopping floors, mirrors and doors, service trash cans, and wipe excess oil off counters, doors, windows
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
