Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. in the United States is seeking a truck care cashier to greet customers, handle transactions, and connect customers with the service team. The role requires friendly service, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

No prior experience is required, as training is provided. You will perform cash register duties, input work orders in the POS, maintain a clean lobby, and support fleet maintenance coordination while adhering to safety

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role experience preferred
• Ability to handle cash and process transactions
• Willingness to learn POS and service processes

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in the lobby and route to service specialists

At Love’s, our truck care cashiers work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean places while having friendly faces. They provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers. They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem.We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• First point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect customers with service specialist to identify services needed
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws
• Accurately input work order information into POS and verify accuracy of services performed and collect/close out pending invoices
• Communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders
• Perform customer area & restroom maintenance such as but not limited to; detail cleaning toilets, sweeping/mopping floors, mirrors and doors, service trash cans, and wipe excess oil off counters, doors, windows
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
