Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring a truck care cashier to be the friendly first point of contact in our lobby. You will handle POS transactions, assist customers, and connect them with service specialists to identify needs. No experience? No problem—we will teach you!

Responsibilities

• First point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect customers with service specialists to identify services needed.
• Balance a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities while following state and local laws.
• Accurately input work order information into POS and verify accuracy of services performed and close out invoices.
• Communicate with fleet maintenance to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders.
• Perform customer area and restroom maintenance including cleaning and restocking as needed.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions

• First point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect customers with service specialist to identify services needed
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws
• Accurately input work order information into POS and verify accuracy of services performed and collect/close out pending invoices
• Communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders
• Perform customer area & restroom maintenance such as but not limited to; detail cleaning toilets, sweeping/mopping floors, mirrors and doors, service trash cans, and wipe excess oil off counters, doors, windows
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
