Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. is seeking a friendly cashier to serve customers in our lobby and support service teams at our Florida location.

The role involves fast, accurate cash handling, POS transactions, and helping customers identify the services they need. You will balance registers, input work orders, and coordinate with fleet maintenance while maintaining a clean, safe work area and adhering to relevant laws.

Qualifications

• Prior cash handling or POS experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain accuracy during busy periods.
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and shifts.

Responsibilities

• First point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect customers with service specialist to identify services needed
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customers while following all state and local laws
• Accurately input work order information into POS and verify accuracy of services performed and collect/close out pending invoices
• Communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders
• Perform customer area & restroom maintenance and keep areas clean and safe

They may perform various duties depending on business needs so flexibility and teamwork skills are important. No experience? No problem.

Job Functions

• First point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect customers with service specialist to identify services needed
• Balancing a cash register by completing customer transactions and offering additional sales opportunities to customerswhile following all state and local laws
• Accurately input work order information into POS and verify accuracy of services performed and collect/close out pending invoices
• Communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase orders
• Perform customer area & restroom maintenance such as but not limited to; detail cleaning toilets, sweeping/mopping floors, mirrors and doors, service trash cans, and wipe excess oil off counters, doors, windows
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds.Ability to work in various temperatures.
