Bay Mills Community College seeks an TRIO/SSS Academic Success Coach to support first-generation and economically disadvantaged students. You will provide advising, tutoring, financial literacy guidance, FAFSA help, mentoring, and goal planning, while collaborating with admissions and registrar staff to maximize student persistence and success.

The role focuses on intake, diagnostic planning, and regular assessments to tailor services, with reporting to the TRIO/SSS Director and campus

Qualifications

• Must understand human behavior and support student success.
• Ability to work independently and with colleagues.
• Willingness to travel for grant requirements.
• Experience with diverse populations and tribal college mission.

Responsabilités

• Assist TRIO/SSS director with identifying and recruiting targeted students.
• Provide academic advising, transfer guidance, and personal development coaching.
• Plan and conduct SSS activities and workshops.
• Maintain student records and assist with FAFSA and financial aid processes.
• Coordinate with admissions, financial aid, and registrar staff.
• Report on program progress to the TRIO/SSS Director.
