Job summary

Paul D. Camp Community College is seeking a TRiO SSS Academic Advisor/Student Support Liaison to provide individualized academic, career, and transfer advising for TRiO participants.

The role includes coordinating accommodations, assisting with financial aid processes, and maintaining active communication with students and campus offices. The position involves organizing workshops, coordinating enrichment activities, and ensuring data collection for reports and grant renewal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, human services, or related field.
• Three years of relevant experience in student services or academic advising in a higher education setting.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
• Proficiency in office productivity software.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to travel between college locations and work evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, career, and transfer advising to TRiO SSS participants.
• Assist students with the financial aid and scholarship applications process.
• Coordinate and provide classroom accommodations for eligible students in collaboration with campus offices.
• Identify, select, and onboard eligible students into the TRiO SSS program.
• Maintain weekly communications with participants.
• Organize and facilitate workshops and activities that support student success.
• Plan and coordinate academic enrichment activities and student engagement opportunities.
• Disseminate information about the TRiO SSS program to the campus community.
• Collect and maintain data for annual reports and grant renewal applications.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.
• Assist with data management to support program reporting, evaluation, and compliance.
• Serve as the college liaison for EAB Navigate.
