Job summary

St. Louis Community College is seeking a Program Assistant for the TRIO department. The role provides clerical, administrative, and project support, maintaining student files and TRIO records, and assisting with grants compliance.

The position requires a High School Diploma and at least 3 years of relevant experience, with flexibility to work some evenings and weekends. An Associate's Degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• At least three (3) years of work experience including experience with programs similar to TRIO.
• Must be flexible in work hours to include some evening and weekends.
• Associate's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter data into Blumen, create and maintain student files, and compile information for reports and grant compliance documents.
• Facilitate TRIO orientations and assist students with eligibility, application, orientation, and intake processes.
• Review and track department expenditures, submit requisitions, purchases, and assist with budget reconciliation.
• Provide department support through product ordering using Banner and manage office supply inventory.
• Develop and update office manuals, handbooks, forms, and flyers.
• Prepare timesheets for part-time and student workers for manager approval.
