Lorber, Greenfield & Olsen, LLP is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate to join our Southern CA team. You will handle substantive work from day one, including drafting motions, taking depositions, and representing clients in trial, arbitration, and mediation.

You’ll provide strategic counsel that impacts outcomes while meeting billable targets and working with firm partners. Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience, strong writing and argumentation skills, and a solid

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience
• Draft and argue motions with precision and persuasiveness
• Navigate the California court system
• Take and defend depositions, represent in trial/arbitration/mediation
• Excellent written and verbal communication; clarity under pressure
• Strong analytical instincts and sound judgment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Active member of the California State Bar
• Background in construction or casualty claims is a plus

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery with precision and persuasion
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations
• Keep clients and their insurers informed and confident throughout the process
• Deliver sound legal advice grounded in real litigation experience
• Own your docket — manage day-to-day litigation tasks and meet billable targets
