Job summary

Lorber, Greenfield & Olsen, LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Southern California litigation team. You will handle substantive work from day one, including motions, depositions, and representing clients in trial, arbitration, and mediation.

We value independent contributors who collaborate with partners and meet billable targets. California State Bar admission is required, and construction or casualty claims background is a big plus.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years civil litigation experience or 5+ years for senior consideration
• Ability to draft and argue motions that hold up in court
• Confidence navigating the California court system
• Skilled at depositions and witness examinations

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery with precision and persuasion
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations
• Keep clients and their insurers informed and confident throughout the process
• Deliver sound legal advice grounded in real litigation experience
• Own your docket - manage day-to-day litigation tasks and meet billable targets
