You will draft motions, take depositions, and represent clients in trial, arbitration, and mediation, with direct access to firm partners.

You should be proficient in navigating the California court system, communicate clearly in writing and speech, and balance independent work with collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience
• Track record of drafting and arguing motions
• Comfort navigating the California court system
• Depositions and witness examinations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical instincts and sound judgment
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Active member of the California State Bar
• Background in construction or casualty claims is a plus

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery with precision
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations
• Keep clients and insurers informed throughout the process
• Deliver sound legal advice grounded in litigation experience
• Own your docket and manage day-to-day tasks while meeting billable targets
