Job summary

Lorber, Greenfield & Olsen, LLP in San Francisco, CA seeks an Associate Attorney to handle substantive civil litigation work from day one, including motions, depositions, trials, arbitrations, and mediation. This isn’t a seat-warmer role; you’ll work closely with partners and clients.

The ideal candidate has 2–3+ years of civil litigation, California Bar membership, and a background in construction or casualty claims.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Drafting and arguing motions that hold up in court.
• Comfort navigating the California court system.
• Experience with depositions and witness examinations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Draft and file motions, pleadings, and discovery with precision.
• Represent clients in trials, arbitrations, depositions, and mediations.
• Keep clients and insurers informed throughout the process.
• Provide strategic litigation counsel that moves cases forward.
• Own your docket and manage day-to-day tasks to meet billable targets.
