Qualifications

• Licensed Registered Nurse in good standing in Rhode Island.
• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in ER, primary care, or urgent care.
• Experience in triage or rapid nursing assessment.
• Comfortable working with interpreters; Spanish preferred.
• Community health nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, triage and respond to calls seeking clinical direction.
• Use standardized adult and pediatric protocols and seek assistance when unavailable.
• Assess patient needs by listening and asking focused questions.
• Direct patient to appropriate level of care and arrange provider scheduling.
• Identify emergent situations and triage to higher care when needed.
• Provide actionable recommendations for action/intervention.
