Job summary

PTAG is seeking a Project Manager - Trenchless/Crossings to lead complex pipeline crossing programs from concept to closeout. You will act as SME for HDD, direct pipe, microtunnelling, and bore crossings, coordinating engineering, geotechnical, permitting, and specialty contractors.

Based in the US or Canada with travel, you will drive strategy, risk management, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring safe, compliant project delivery across major infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Geotechnical preferred) or related discipline.
• 12+ years of project management experience on major pipeline or linear infrastructure projects, 8+ years in trenchless/crossings.
• Experience leading large crossing programs and familiarity with HDD, direct pipe, microtunnelling, and bore crossings.
• PMP certification is preferred; strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as PM and SME for trenchless and crossing scopes on major pipeline projects.
• Lead crossing programs from concept through construction and closeout.
• Evaluate methods, guide design coordination, and manage procurement and execution.
• Coordinate permitting, regulator interfaces, and stakeholder requirements for river, road, rail crossings.
• Oversee risk management, cost forecasting, and resource planning for crossing scopes.
• Provide governance support and executive reporting; promote safety and compliance.
