Job summary

Grade A Tree Care Llc is seeking a dependable Groundsman to support our tree crews with daily operations, including brush cleanup, equipment operation, job site safety, and assisting climbers and crew leaders.

Responsibilities include dragging brush to the chipper, operating wood chippers and saws, rigging and lowering limbs, loading gear, and keeping sites clean and safe while adhering to company safety procedures. Training provided and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance.
• Tree care, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred but not required.
• CDL is a plus but not required.

• Operate wood chippers, chainsaws, leaf blowers, and other equipment safely
• Assist with rigging, lowering limbs, and maintaining safe work zones
• Load and unload equipment, tools, and materials
• Perform general cleanup of job sites and leave properties in excellent condition
• Follow company safety procedures and participate in safety meetings
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance and inspections
• Support crew leaders and climbers as needed
