Job summary

LandGraphics in California is seeking a dependable Tree Care Groundsman to support pruning, removals, and general tree care alongside experienced crews. This outdoor, physical role requires safety-first work and teamwork to complete projects efficiently.

You will operate chainsaws and other equipment, maintain safe work zones, and perform daily inspections. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, a 401(k), paid sick leave, and paid holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in tree care, landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor preferred, but not required.
• Experience operating chainsaws or similar power equipment is a plus.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, safety mindset, and reliable attendance.
• Valid California Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tree pruning, removals, trimming, and other tree care services.
• Operate chainsaws, wood chippers, stump grinders, blowers, and other equipment safely.
• Drag, chip, and dispose of tree debris and brush.
• Assist climbers with ropes, rigging, and lowering operations.
• Set up and maintain safe work zones using cones, signs, and barricades.
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Follow all company safety policies and Cal/OSHA regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing LandGraphics.
• Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects safely and efficiently.

This position supports tree pruning, removals, and general tree care operations while working alongside experienced crew members. • Ability to safely work around heavy equipment, power tools, and tree care operations.
