Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber (DL Required) to trim, tops, and reshape trees to provide clearance for powerlines. This full-time, non-exempt role performs hands-on tree work and operates required tools and equipment.

You'll join a team that values safety, readiness for varying weather, and the ability to work from ladders and heavy equipment. A driver's license is required; HS diploma preferred; pre-employment checks apply. Benefits and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while performing demanding work.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Relays hand-signals and directs traffic when needed.
• Keeps trucks and work area clean and orderly.
• Safeguards employees and public from hazards in the work area.
• Assists training new employees.
