Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC seeks a Trimmer/Climber (DL Required) to trim, top, and reshape trees to clear utility powerlines. This full-time, hourly role requires climbing, lifting, and operating hand and power tools in variable weather conditions.

You will load and unload materials, work with traffic control, and assist in training new staff while maintaining safe work areas and equipment. Pre-employment screening applies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders or uneven surfaces under demanding conditions.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools and equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into woodchipper.
• Performs barrier setup and traffic control as assigned.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and orderly.
• Assists training new employees.
• Maintains safety and proper working conditions of equipment.
