Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Foreperson to drive crew productivity and safety in daily field operations. You will work with management to determine hiring needs, deadlines, and protocols while mentoring crew members and addressing routine site issues.

The role is full-time, hourly, and requires CDL-ready drivers' licenses with the ability to travel for storm work. You will manage training, customer relations, and reporting on crew performance.

Qualifications

• Must understand drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work independently in field conditions.
• Must be able to drive a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from management.
• Conducts field training and retraining of crew on new job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per policy and OSHA guidelines and conducts safety training.
• Coordinates with property owners on access and work details; refers complex issues to General Foreperson.
• Obtains permissions from property owners to perform work.
• Maintains good customer relations and ensures effective completion of assigned work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance.
