Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Climber in Texas to perform tree trimming and removal tasks with safety as a priority. The role requires climbing with rope and saddle, plus driving for licensing and storm assignments as necessary.

Responsibilities include operating hand and power tools, loading debris, and maintaining equipment while adhering to safety standards and company policies. A background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must climb and prune trees safely using rope and saddle.
• Driver's license required.
• 1–2 years residential or commercial line clearance experience preferred.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Willingness to travel for storm work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Climb, prune, and remove trees according to Foreperson’s directives.
• Load and unload trucks with logs, brush, and debris; feed brush into chipper.
• Work from the ground using hand saws, pole saws, pruners, and gas-powered chainsaws.
• Inspect and ensure proper working condition of all tools and equipment.
• Safeguard employees and public from hazards by enforcing safe practices and keeping area clean.
