Job summary

BrightView Landscapes is seeking a Groundsperson, Tree Care to support tree trimming and removal operations. The role assists with ground-level tasks such as clearing brush, chipping branches, and debris disposal, with no prior experience required.

The position includes basic training in tool use, PPE, and safety protocols, and it offers health benefits and opportunities to grow within a well-known landscaping company. This is a full-time, on-site role in a physically active outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with no prior experience required.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Demonstrates safety awareness when using PPE and tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ground-level tree care operations in support of pruning, removal, and maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate introductory level proficiency in the safe operation of powered equipment (woodchippers, trucks, blowers).
• Use hand tools (hand saws, pole pruners, rakes, shovels) safely to complete tasks.
• Select and use appropriate PPE per safety standards and company protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized work site and manage traffic/pedestrian control when needed.
