Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Groundsperson, Tree Care in Florida. This entry-level role supports tree trimming and removal operations, assisting with ground-level tasks and debris management.

No prior experience is required, and the position may involve working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Responsibilities include basic tree care tasks, safe operation of light-powered equipment, use of hand tools, and maintaining a secure work site with proper PPE.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position, requiring no prior experience.
• Ability to lift and carry tools and materials up to 80 pounds.
• Must have a valid driver’s license if operating BrightView fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ground-level tree care operations in support of pruning, removal, and maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate introductory level proficiency in the safe operation of powered equipment, including woodchippers, trucks, and blowers.
• Use hand tools such as hand saws, pole pruners, rakes, and shovels effectively and safely to complete assigned tree care tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site. Implement traffic and pedestrian control measures and ensure protection of the work zone.
