BrightView is seeking an entry-level Groundsperson to support tree care operations, including clearing brush, chipping branches, and debris disposal. No prior experience is required, and the role emphasizes safety, technique, and teamwork on active job sites.

You'll assist with pruning, removal, and maintenance work while learning to operate basic landscape equipment under supervision. Outdoor duties demand stamina and adherence to PPE and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; no prior experience or training required.
• Ability to perform basic ground-level tree care tasks safely.
• Willingness to learn proper PPE usage and safety protocols.
• Capability to operate or assist with landscape equipment as directed.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ground-level tree care operations in support of pruning, removal, and maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate introductory proficiency in safe operation of powered equipment such as woodchippers, trucks, and blowers.
• Use hand tools like hand saws, pruners, rakes, and shovels to complete tasks safely.
• Select and use appropriate PPE in line with safety standards and company protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site; control traffic and protect the work zone.
