Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, in Orlando, Florida, seeks a Groundsperson for Tree Care to assist with ground-level tasks during tree trimming and removal operations. No prior experience is required, and training will be provided on the job.

You will help clear brush, chip branches, and manage debris as part of a safety-focused team. You will learn to operate basic equipment and use common hand tools in a supportive role.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position requiring no prior experience or training.
• Follow established directions related to roping and rigging and routine maintenance.
• Communicate clearly using standardized hand signals with climbers and crew.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic ground-level tree care operations in support of pruning, removal, and maintenance.
• Demonstrate introductory safety in the operation of powered equipment, including woodchippers, trucks, and blowers.
• Use hand tools such as hand saws, pole pruners, rakes, and shovels to complete tasks.
• Select and use appropriate PPE according to safety standards and company protocols.
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and manage work zone safety.
