Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Reliable, safety‑oriented, and able to work well within a team.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job and work in all weather conditions.
• Desirable: CDL Class A, MN Pesticide Spray License, EHAP training, ISA certification, forestry degree.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety policies and wear PPE at all times.
• Assist with tree pruning, trimming, and removal operations.
• Support ground operations including brush chipping, brush mowing, chainsaw work, and site cleanup.
• Assist with stump grinding and debris removal.
• Support emergency tree services such as storm damage response.
• Assist climbers and arborists with rigging systems and aerial operations.
• Safely operate tools and equipment such as chainsaws, pole saws, wood chippers, and brush mowers.
• Inspect equipment daily and report mechanical or safety concerns to crew leadership.
• Interact professionally with property owners and the public.
