Job summary

Carr’s Tree Service is hiring for a Crew Member to perform tree care operations in Battle Lake, MN. You will assist in pruning, trimming, removal, ground work, rigging, and equipment operation while prioritizing safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively with the team in English.
• Able to meet the physical demands and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safety & Compliance: follow all safety policies and use PPE.
• Tree care operations: pruning, trimming, and removal.
• Ground operations: brush chipping, mowing, chainsaw work, site cleanup.
• Stump grinding and debris removal.
• Emergency tree services such as storm damage response.
• Climbing & rigging support for arborists and aerial operations.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment (chainsaws, pole saws, wood chippers).
• Interact professionally with property owners and public.
• Contribute to a positive, productive team environment.
