Job summary

Finom is seeking a Treasury Operations and Reconciliations Manager to run daily money movement across SEPA, instant payments, cards and international transfers. This senior role operates with a small team as volumes grow and new products launch, including lending and payment acceptance.

You will design money flows with product and engineering, ensure safeguarding, regulatory reporting, and cross‑team incident resolution, while strengthening controls and reconciliation processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in treasury operations, payment operations or reconciliation at an e-money institution, payment institution or bank.
• Builder's mindset: turned manual work into automated processes with engineers.
• Escalation: handled money‑impacting payment incidents with banks, schemes and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Treasury operations: Daily funding of payment channels, 24/7 monitoring and new settlement models.
• Reconciliation: across banks, card schemes, payment processors and custodians; automate transactional control.
• Safeguarding and reporting: keep client money protected and ensure regulatory reporting is accurate and timely.
• Funds-flow engineering: design money flows for new products/markets/partners with accounts, postings and reconciliation in mind.
• Escalation: act as the go-to for incidents and ensure fast cross‑team resolution.
• Process and automation: document operation, reduce single points of failure, automate with engineering.
