Job summary

Finom, a European fintech with headquarters in Amsterdam, seeks a Treasury Operations and Reconciliations Manager to run daily settlement and reconciliation for payments across SEPA, instant payments, cards and international transfers.

You will work with a small team to design money flows for new products, ensure accurate regulatory reporting, and escalate incidents when funds do not move as expected, collaborating with product and engineering to launch new schemes.

Qualifications

• Experience in treasury operations, payment operations or reconciliation at an e-money institution, payment institution or bank.
• Builder's mindset: document and automate manual processes with engineers.
• Escalation: handle money-impacting payment incidents with banks, schemes and internal teams.
• Hands-on knowledge of rails such as SEPA, SWIFT and card schemes.
• Active role in designing or rebuilding money flows for new products or rails.

Responsibilities

• Perform settlement and reconciliation day to day, ensuring funds are where they should be.
• Daily funding of payment channels and buffers; keep operations running 24/7.
• Help bring new schemes and settlement models live safely.
• Maintain safeguarding and regulatory/reporting accuracy and timeliness.
• Design money flows for new products with product and engineering teams.
