Job summary

German American Bank seeks a Treasury Management Sales Officer in Sellersburg, IN to identify needs, offer pricing, and prepare customer agreements with Treasury Support. The role involves active outreach to customers and prospects, with sales presentations and proposals.

You will educate internal partners, build product knowledge, and develop campaigns for new and existing treasury products, with travel as needed and a commitment to obtaining the CTP designation within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business related field or equivalent work experience.
• Operational and technical knowledge of treasury management systems and processes.
• Travel as needed to meet customer needs.
• Outstanding presentation and sales skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally).
• Attention to detail and ability to work well in teams and individually.
• Candidate will be expected to attempt to obtain the Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation within 3 years of hire.
• Knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong problem-solving, negotiation and follow up skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify treasury management needs and price solutions for customers and prospects.
• Prepare and submit customer agreements with Treasury Support.
• Call on prospective and current customers and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
• Develop sales campaigns for new and existing products and retention of current customers.
