Job summary

Peoples Bank seeks a teller/service associate to provide excellent customer service, handle deposits, and process teller transactions across branches. You will identify customer needs and refer them to business partners, while meeting referral goals and maintaining a professional, confidential approach.

The role requires daily travel to different branches within the footprint, reliable transportation, and strong communication skills to build trust and enhance the customer experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of related customer service experience.
• Ability to travel to multiple branches within the footprint.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and operate standard banking equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver superior customer service with a friendly demeanor and problem-solving approach.
• Develop and retain the customer base; greet by name and respond promptly.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, and teller transactions accurately.
• Research and resolve customer issues; follow up on resolutions.
• Initiate referrals to platform partners and meet referral goals.
• Make sales calls to clients/prospects; track activities in Salesforce.
• Travel to various branches to support staffing needs as required.
• Adhere to security, risk management, and branch policies.
