Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Traveling Superintendent for the Advanced Facilities Group (AFG). You will plan, manage and execute self-perform work across multiple projects nationwide, traveling to sites and coordinating safety, quality, and logistics.

You will lead meetings, manage crews and subcontractors, and ensure timely, profitable project completion while aligning with JE Dunn’s values and standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required;Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience;3+ years field supervision experience;Experience with Lean principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads safety culture and ensures an injury-free environment.
• Manages subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversees staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs like Safety, QA/QC, EEO.
• Develops work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinates project site care, custody and control.
• Leads daily standups and weekly trade meetings.
• Attends progress and/or OAC meetings.
• Creates and manages the project schedule with the Project Manager.
• Tracks project budget and costs using PM system reports.
• Communicates key project information to owners, design team, and partners.
