Job summary

JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Traveling Superintendent (AFG) to lead self-perform work across multiple projects nationwide. The role focuses on safety leadership, coordination of subcontractors, scheduling, and budget oversight to ensure timely, profitable project completion.

You will travel to assigned projects, manage field teams, and maintain documentation in alignment with JE Dunn standards and the company’s values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years construction experience.
• 3+ years field supervision experience.
• Experience with Lean principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture and mentor staff to an injury-free environment.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and QA/QC.
• Develop work plans for self-performed work and scheduling.
• Coordinate project site care and control; lead meetings and progress reviews.
• Prepare and manage project schedules and monitor budgets and costs.
