Job summary

JE Dunn Construction seeks a seasoned Superintendent 2 to plan, manage and execute on complex projects with full travel across the country. You will oversee materials, equipment, crews, safety, quality, and project documentation, driving on-time and profitable completions in alignment with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The role requires strong leadership, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination with owners, design teams and subcontractors; you will participate in project reviews and ongoing

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience presenting to diverse stakeholders and leading meetings.
• Proficiency in construction management fundamentals and project controls.
• Understanding of lean principles and budgeting within construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety culture on site and mentor staff.
• Manage subcontractors and overall job workflow.
• Oversee staff, subcontractors, suppliers and programs (Safety, Quality, EEO).
• Develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work.
• Coordinate site care, control and documentation.
• Lead daily standups and weekly trade meetings; participate in OAC meetings.
• Create and adjust project schedules with project managers; monitor costs.
• Ensure quality compliance through QA/QC processes.
• Support project closeouts and coordination with owners, architects and authorities.
