Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies in Downers Grove, IL, seeks an experienced Traveling Superintendent with 5–15+ years leading light industrial or data center projects. You will manage field operations, schedule development, and project coordination from day one to bring projects to completion on time, within budget, and to plan specifications.

Qualifications

• 5–15+ years of construction experience with at least 5 years in supervisory roles on light industrial or data center projects.
• Experience leading MEP trades on data center, battery storage, or manufacturing facilities preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook; familiarity with project scheduling programs.

Responsibilities

• Attend post‑award meetings to receive project information and preplanning details.
• Develop and coordinate construction schedules and staffing plans with the project team.
• Direct and control the project to meet specifications and deadlines while maintaining budget.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and owner/architect representatives to ensure alignment with plans.
• Maintain project records, cost reports, and requisitions; report progress to management.
