Job summary

ARCO National Construction seeks a Traveling Construction Superintendent to lead commercial and industrial design-build projects across the United States. You will own jobsite execution from post-award to completion, directing subcontractors, maintaining schedules, and upholding safety and quality with the project manager.

Qualifications

• 5–25 years of construction experience as a Lead Superintendent.
• Willingness and ability to travel throughout the United States.
• Proficiency with construction management and project software, including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations and jobsite execution through all phases of commercial and industrial construction projects.
• Direct teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain project schedules.
• Attend post-award review meetings to gather details and start preconstruction planning.
• Develop construction schedules with the project manager, sequencing, manpower and equipment needs.
• Oversee work to meet specifications, stay on schedule, and target profitability.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to meet project timelines.
• Assist in preparing job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review requisitions, field PO's, invoices, and key project documents.
• Maintain communication with the project manager on progress and issues affecting costs or schedules.
• Complete daily reports with key project details and site events.
• Enforce safety program adherence across all project phases.
• Lead with integrity, focusing on quality and client satisfaction.
