Job summary

ARCO is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead ground up light and mid-industrial construction projects nationwide. The role involves managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.

The ideal candidate has 5-15+ years in leadership roles on industrial or tilt-wall builds, with willingness to travel and strong proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and scheduling software.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on industrial, warehouse or tilt wall projects.
• Willing to travel when needed.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings to receive project information and preplanning details.
• Prepare a schedule of construction activities and resource requirements with the project team.
• Direct and control the construction project to meet specs, within schedule and budget.
• Coordinate subcontractors to align with project schedules and progress.
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors of schedule changes promptly.
• Assist in preparing progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review and approve requisitions, field PO's, invoices, and other key documents.
• Cooperate with owners, architects, and representatives to ensure alignment with project goals.
