Job summary

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, seeks a seasoned senior superintendent to lead ground-up warehouse or distribution center projects nationwide. You will manage field operations from preplanning to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and cost control while meeting schedules.

You will travel nationally, supervise subcontractors, coordinate with project teams, and drive on-time delivery within budget, upholding ARCO standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience, with at least 5 of those years as a lead superintendent on warehouse or distribution center projects that are a minimum of 100k sq ft
• Willing to travel nationally
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license
• Physical ability to meet job demands including lifting up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Attend project kick-off and preplanning meetings
• Develop construction schedules and staffing plans
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specifications on time and within budget
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure integration with project schedules
• Maintain safety program adherence across all project phases
• Prepare progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs
• Report progress and issues to project management
