Job summary

ARCO/Murray National Construction is seeking an experienced Traveling Superintendent with 5-15+ years of leadership on ground-up industrial, cold storage, wastewater, or food and beverage processing projects. You will manage all field operations, schedules, and budgets from day one, traveling to project sites nationwide to ensure on-time, on-budget completion per specifications.

Qualifications

• 5-25+ years of construction experience with lead superintendent role on industrial/facility projects.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling tools.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings for preplanning details.
• Develop project schedules, staffing, and equipment requirements with the PM.
• Direct and control the total construction project to meet specs and schedule.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure integration with project timelines.
• Maintain daily project diary documenting key facts and decisions.
• Ensure adherence to safety programs across all project phases.
• Report progress and costs to project management and owners.
• Lead travel assignments across regional or national scopes.
