Job summary

ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, is seeking an experienced lead superintendent for ground-up cold storage and light industrial projects in Indianapolis, IN. You will oversee field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and manage schedules to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires 5–25 years of construction leadership, willingness to travel nationally, and strong proficiency with standard software tools.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction experience with at least 5 years as a lead superintendent on cold storage projects (min 100k sq ft).
• At least five years of recent experience working within the Southeast.
• Willing to travel nationally.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling programs.
• Must possess a current valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review meetings to receive project information and preplanning details.
• Prepare a schedule of construction activities, structure, staffing, and equipment requirements.
• Direct and control the entire construction project to meet specifications and schedule.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to integrate work with project timelines and budgets.
• Maintain regular communication with owners, architects, and representatives on progress and changes.
• Prepare and review progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and other reports.
