Job summary

Haydon is seeking an Assistant/Senior Superintendent to support the oversight and coordination of trade partners and crews on construction projects. You will focus on field coordination and work with the Project Manager to ensure objectives are met, including owner, architect, and consultant satisfaction.

You will manage small projects and teams, lead safety and quality initiatives, and collaborate with the project team to maintain schedules and costs according to Haydon standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in commercial construction or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read plans/specs, problem solve, and communicate effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership across multi-discipline projects.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and scheduling with Senior/General Supervisors.
• Coordinate site logistics, testing, inspections, and mobilization.
• Support safety plans and weekly site safety meetings.
• Review workmanship for conformance to contract documents and Haydon standards.
• Lead coordination meetings and ensure look ahead schedules are followed.
