Job summary

Haydon is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate technical activities on assigned projects. You will plan, schedule, conduct, and coordinate project duties in conjunction with the Project Manager & Project Superintendent, ensuring quality and effective cross-discipline communication.

Required: Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management with 7-10+ years’ experience in commercial construction, strong CPM knowledge, and commitment to safety, with the ability to lead meetings and manage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management with 7–10+ years’ experience.
• Experience in business development, operations, and managing commercial construction projects.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities and see projects through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate technical activities on assigned projects with PM & Superintendent.
• Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate project duties; ensure quality assurance/quality control.
• Maintain effective communication across disciplines and project teams.
• Manage submittal & shop drawing processes and change orders; ensure timely procurement.
• Support safety policies and document control, meetings, and close-out activities.
• Engage with subcontractors, owners, and preconstruction teams to drive progress.
