Job summary

Hoar is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent in coordinating construction activities, schedules, and budgets across multiple crews. The role includes reviewing plans, guiding subcontractors, and delivering safe, quality work on site.

You will assist in daily operations, monitor progress, read construction documents, prepare reports, and travel up to 100% as needed to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in construction or college construction graduate
• General knowledge of scheduling, cost control and safety procedures
• General Computer skills (MS Office)
• Valid Driver's License Required

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents with monitoring of the project schedule and budget and work with superintendents to maintain and update.
• Coordinate inspections and participate in the examination and inspection of work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
• Read construction documents to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.
• Record and maintain information and produce reports such as personnel, production, project logs, status and other operational data.
• Assist in coordinating and management of all workforce needed to complete assigned projects.
• Clearly communicate goals and expectations to crew members, including but not limited to, allotted work hours and schedule.
