Job summary

ARCO is seeking a seasoned lead superintendent who can oversee ground-up commercial construction projects from day one. You will manage field operations, collaborate with project managers, and ensure project completion on schedule and within budget.

The role requires 5–25 years of leadership in construction, willingness to travel across the Southeast/US, and proficiency with MS Office and project scheduling tools. A valid driver’s license and physical stamina are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-25 years of construction leadership experience on ground-up commercial projects.
• Willing to travel as projects require; able to live anywhere in the U.S.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and project scheduling programs.
• Experience using an iPad or similar tablet.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing/walking, lifting up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award reviews to receive project details and preplanning.
• Coordinate with project manager to plan schedules, staffing, equipment needs.
• Direct and control construction to meet specs and budgets.
• Coordinate subcontractors and integrate with schedules.
• Prepare progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Inform owners/architects of schedule changes and progress.
