Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies is seeking Traveling Superintendents to manage diverse projects across the United States. You will lead field teams, collaborate with the PM, and ensure projects meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.

The role demands 5–25 years as a Lead Superintendent, travel nationwide, and proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Excel. A valid driver's license and physical stamina are required. ARCO offers extensive benefits and a path for growth.

Qualifications

• 5–25 years of experience as a Lead Superintendent.
• Willing to travel throughout the United States.
• Proficiency in construction management software (Procore/Bluebeam/MS Excel).
• Possess and maintain a current, valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• Ability to meet physical demands (standing or walking for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong leadership, direct teams, and resolve conflicts.
• Attend post-award review meetings and begin preconstruction planning.
• Develop construction schedules with project manager balancing manpower and equipment needs.
• Oversee project execution to meet specs, schedule, and profitability targets.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities to meet project timelines.
• Assist in preparing job progress and cost reports reflecting actual costs.
• Review and approve requisitions, field PO's, invoices, and key project documents.
• Maintain constant communication with the project manager on progress and issues.
• Complete daily reports documenting key project details and site events.
• Enforce adherence to ARCO's safety program across all project phases.
• Lead with integrity and uphold company values to exceed client expectations.
