Job summary

Kimmel & Associates is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead Class A office interior, tenant improvement, and interior construction projects nationwide. You will oversee all field operations, ensure compliance with plans, specs, safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.

The role requires traveling regionally to nationwide projects, with extended overnight stays. Candidates should reside within 50–100 miles of an office; 10+ years of experience and OSHA 30 certification are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Construction Management degree preferred.
• Significant experience as Lead Superintendent on commercial interior, tenant improvements, or building renovations.
• 10+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience with independent project leadership.
• Experience managing projects valued at approximately $10 million or more.
• OSHA 30 certification required; CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations and personnel on assigned commercial interior projects.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and laborers to meet schedules.
• Coordinate daily construction activities to progress per plan.
• Review plans, specs, schedules, and project documentation.
• Maintain safety documentation, daily reports, and punch-list processes.
• Monitor site progress, quality, safety, and productivity.
• Communicate with clients, project managers, and field teams.
