Job summary

Kimmel & Associates has a national client seeking a Traveling Superintendent to oversee Class A commercial interior projects across the country. You will lead field operations, manage subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence while keeping clients satisfied.

Travel will be extensive, including overnight stays. Ideal candidates reside within 50–100 miles of a company office and possess OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, and a strong track record managing multi-million dollar

Qualifications

• Lead Superintendent on commercial interior/tenant improvement projects.
• 10+ years of commercial construction Superintendent experience.
• Experience managing projects valued at roughly $10 million+.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• First Aid and CPR certification required.
• Willingness to travel nationwide with extended overnight stays.
• Ideally located within 50–100 miles of a company office.

Responsibilities

• Lead all field operations and personnel on assigned projects.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, laborers, and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate daily construction activities to align with the project schedule.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and manpower are available as needed.
• Review plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Direct subcontractor activities and coordinate multiple trades on active sites.
• Maintain daily reports, time sheets, and safety documentation.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety, and productivity.
• Communicate with clients and project teams to resolve field issues.
